We know that these are uncertain times. Please know that we are doing all that we can get people back to work and stay there. However, we must take precautions to maintain the health and safety of all of you. Please read and understand the information below, regularly (as they will likely get updated).
All furloughed production workers are expected to return to work the week starting May 4th. You will be called via telephone. Staggered start/stop times are required to minimize congestion at entry and time clocks.
Office employees that are currently working from home will continue working from home. If it is necessary to come in this is ok, but please advise the receptionist, so that we can minimize the number of people in the office.
Other office workers that are currently on layoff are still laid off, unless contacted by HR.
Designated doors and clock-in stations are required to be used, and a short health questionnaire will be required prior to entry. Employees are required to take their temperature before coming to work each day.
Face masks or face shields will be provided by the company. Employees are responsible to keep these clean and in good condition.
Glassline Corp. Covid-19 Policies and Recommendations
New Covid-19 Policies
All employees should take their temperature before coming to work. If you have a temperature of 100.4 or more, do not come to work. Stay at home if sick.
Symptoms are fever, tiredness, sore throat, cough, and breathing difficulties.
You should stay at home at least 4-5 days after the onset of symptoms.
A sign-in questionnaire must be filled in when you arrive at work, which will ask if your temperature was above 100.4, if you feel bad, and if you had any symptoms.
You may be asked to leave if you say yes, and you will not be paid for coming in. Your temperature will be taken at work also, and if elevated you will be asked to leave (see 5 below).
All exterior doors should remain locked to minimize entry volume.
No visitors, whether family, suppliers, customers, etc. without an appointment with the main receptionist.
All production employees are required to wear masks or face shields at work, as these greatly reduce the chances of contracting the virus, and it is recommended by the Ohio Dept. of Health. Glassline will provide 2 or 3 masks for use. These are one size fits most. These should be HAND washed regularly, preferably wash one nightly and keep them in rotation.
Should you become ill at work, please report to your supervisor to fill out a Sickness Report prior to leaving.
Wash hands immediately after entering the building.
Employees should maintain 6 ft. working distance if at all possible. Avoid crowds. Avoid touching others.
Avoid moving between buildings of Glassline Corporation. Make a call to see if someone in that building can help with what you need. If you must go to another building, wash hands before going, and wash hands after returning.
Try to regularly wash hands, minimally at each break. Use hand sanitizer if washing your hands is not possible, or if immediate sanitation is necessary.
Clean your workstation at the end of the day.
Clean any common areas regularly, such as data entry terminals/keyboards.
Avoid sharing food, even common coffee pots, refrigerators, etc. Bring food from home.
